The Grotto was built as part of the formal gardens of Easton Hall, and was entered via a stone gateway surround dating from 1810. The Hall was demolished in 1951 and in 2001 work started to restore Easton Walled Gardens. Work in The Grotto began in 2022 and is the next stage of the revitalisation of Easton.
As our Guests, anyone attending a course here will have unlimited, free access to Easton Walled Gardens during their visit, even when the Gardens are closed to Day Visitors. You can roam around the rediscovered gardens of the former Easton Hall, exploring nearly 12 acres of beautiful grounds, finding your own space to enjoy and unwind.
